Privacy notice

OEX TECH is a project of AkolagTech, based in New Jersey, United States. This page explains what we collect on this site and why. It is short because we collect very little.

The launch list

If you submit the signup form we collect your email address, optionally your name, and the fact that you ticked the consent box. We use it for exactly one purpose: to email you when this site launches. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

Submissions are stored in BillCrop LeadFlow, our own customer-relationship system, operated by AkolagTech. Your details are processed there under our control and are not shared with third parties for independent use.

You can unsubscribe from any email we send, or ask us to delete your details entirely, by writing to hello@akolagtech.com. We will action a deletion request promptly and confirm when it is done.

If you ordered from the old oextech.com store

Until 2023 this domain ran a small phone-accessories store. That store has been permanently retired. Its WordPress and WooCommerce installation has been shut down and removed, and the customer records it held have been taken out of the live system.

A copy of the order history is retained solely to meet accounting and tax record-keeping obligations. It is held encrypted, is not used for marketing, and is not loaded into the launch list. If you ordered from the old store, you will not receive marketing email from us as a result - the only way onto the launch list is to sign up on this page.

To ask what is held about you, or to request deletion where we are not legally required to retain it, contact hello@akolagtech.com.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting, on a short retention period.

If that changes as the site grows, this notice will be updated before the change takes effect.
